Hi Karstien,

My bike is a 1987 Japanese market bike that has covered 26k km. The engine 
number is RC17E-1007854.

It might be worth contacting Tony Galea at Galea Camchains in England. Tony 
worked on my bike, directly after replacing the chain and tensioner on a US 
import Nighthawk. The UK tel no is 01268 735355.

I don't know for sure, but I think it was all the later bikes G's, FII's and 
Bol D'or F's that had a range of engine modifications over the earlier bikes. 
Maybe Viking or Mr T can advise.
